Crown Court House is situated bang in the middle of Dalton-in-Furness, an ancient market town in the heart of the Furness Peninsular.  This picture gets the blog started, the old Police station before 5 years hard work.

Daily Fresh Bread

We now have an improved selection of freshly baked bread rolls and loaves to enjoy every single day…

We are the sole retailer of Thomas’s Bakery in the Dalton area.

Thomas’s Bakery cook every thing fresh at their bakery premises on Broughton Rd just around the corner from Crown Court House bakery shop. They supply their freshly cooked bread, cakes, meat and potato pies (which won the hairy biker’s ‘Best in furness’ award) and sandwiches to take-away.

You can place a daily bread order to guarantee we have a fresh loaf available for you by telephoning 01229 465323. We can also make cakes to order for those special occasions like birthdays, christenings and weddings. Please call in and collect a price list Parking is free at Broughton Rd car park, Tudor Square with a conveniant bus stop nearby. It’s time we had a Thomas’s bakery in Dalton supplying the superb products already enjoyed by the people of Barrow and Ulverston. Come along and try some samples soon.

Our current opening hours are:

The Café
…is open daily from 9am to 4:00pm.
We have ’specials’ every day, so please call or email if you want to find out what tasty treats are in store!

Sunday is Carvery Day in the Café
Breaksfast runs from 9:00am to 12noon and the Carvery runs from 12noon to 3:00pm.

The Restaurant

…is open Wednesday, Thursday from 5:00pm, Friday and Saturday from 6:00pm ’til late…
We run special evenings and events so please keep an eye on our ‘news’ section to see what is coming up! The Restaurant is also available to book on Monday and Tuesday for any special occasions you may have – please contact us to find out more.

The Dalton Room with business facilities.

The Dalton Room is the perfect place to hold a formal or informal event, conference or other get-together.
This room contains all you need for a business meeting and will hold 20 people comfortably.
Seating and tables can be set up as desired for the occasion in mind.
Facilities include Wi-Fi, HD projector with screen, music dedicated to the room if required and changeable LED lighting.

The Dalton Room also holds Art, Craft and Antique exhibitions throughout the year.  Antiques and Art are regularly on sale
throughout the building.

Hire cost.

Free hire when you buy food. (breakfast, lunch or buffet).
or £15.00 per hour.

Free use of facilities.
